To make Helen.com.au a low carbon business and to be climate positive my office and home use solar power (I do live in Queensland, the Sunshine State!), I offset my carbon footprint, and I plant trees every month for my business and my clients.
Each month, thorough Ecologi, native and diverse trees in Madagascar, Mozambique and Nicaragua are planted to cover my footprint. The planting projects, carried out by Eden Reforestation, help to support communities and reduce poverty by employing local workers.
My entire carbon footprint is more than offset. This includes my home living, personal travel, holidays, food, hobbies and well, everything!
And to offset the websites that I create and host, I plant more trees per client project and website care plan.
My goal is to plant 500 trees in 2022. To reach this goal I will:
For every website launch I will plant 25 trees.
Every month, for every website that I host or care for I will plant 1 tree.
For every Website Intensive day I will plant 1 tree.
To thank you for taking the time to provide a review or testimonial, I will plant 5 trees.
